Intersegmental Traction Table
Ah, yes! The intersegmental traction table - AKA “the rolley bed” as our patients so lovingly refer to it!
It’s essentially a hands-free massage bed, but there are many benefits to use before or after your chiropractic adjustment. This table mobilizes the spinal column while simultaneously and gently stretching ligaments and muscles. It also increases blood flow and oxygen to discs, ligaments and muscles, thereby improving balance, strength and mobility.
Dr. Haeker will generally treat you to a “rolley bed” session after each adjustment, unless there is another form of adjunctive therapy he thinks will benefit you more.
